Mar 26th – Deadline for 5th PMBoK Exam
PMBoK 5th Edition certified participant can take exam on 5th edition today. What’s next?
We’ve received a lot of calls. Anxiety to curiosity can be the emotions that describe my situation. Does it mean I should re-invest my money and time on the 6th edition if I am unable to take the exam on the 5th edition before 26 March 2018? Do I need to take PMBoK 6th edition exam if I haven’t passed the 5th edition exam? Do I have to go through the training again? Please advise, help, or suggest.

Here are some tips to help you get started:
If you have already taken the PMP exam, you don’t need to go through any training. The 35 hours of training for the PMP exam are one-time and valid for a lifetime.
If you are unable or unwilling to take the exam on the 5th edition PMBoK before 26 March 2018, you can take it on the 6th Edition PMBoK post-Mar 2018. This is the only alternative.
If you fail to pass the exam on 5th edition PMBoK before 26 March 2018, you will need to retake the exam on 6th edition PMBoK.

We are happy to assist you, and you don’t have to reappear to receive 6th edition PMP workshop training. You have the contact hours required to take the exam. However, you will need to acquire incremental knowledge and possibly brush up on your existing knowledge.
The 6th edition introduces the Agile concept. There are also incidental and incremental changes. The PMBoK knowledge has been reorganized and reorganized in a better format to make it easier to understand and implement. The framework is also more practical than the earlier standards due to the revisions.

ProThoughts will offer free webinars (summary or detailed) to its 5th edition participants who want to take the 6th edition. Our 5th edition PMP certified participants are also welcome to learn the new knowledge. This is one of our giving gestures to our alumni, who mean a lot.
